Adapted Physical Activity Seminars and Symposia

FSSS organizes events, meetings, and educational opportunities for adapted physical activity in collaboration with other actors in the field of APA. The biggest event in the field is the Adapted Physical Activity Seminar that is arranged every fourth year. The most recent Adapted Physical Activity Seminar was held in August 2022 in Helsinki.

A little bit smaller event known as the Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity is also organized every fourth year. The next symposium will be held in August 2024. The seminar and the symposium are events for promoting adapted physical activity, research, education, and collaboration in the field.

In addition, FSSS hosts annual education and researcher meetings targeted towards professionals and researchers in the field.
