Call for abstracts and participation to Young researchers competition

We invite all scientists to present their newest research in the Virtual Finnish Congress on Sports Sciences 2021! There will be an exhibition space on the events' virtual platform that is dedicated for e-Posters and video presentations. E-posters and research presentation videos will be on display throughout the two-day event.

In addition, we invite all sports science researchers under the age of 35 to participate in the young researcher competition. You can participate by sending an original research related to sports science that is published after September 1st, 2019 or has not yet been published.

The abstracts accepted to the research competition will be presented at the Sports Science Days in the e-poster exhibition space and the finalists will have an opportunity to present their work live during the congress. Four best presentations will be awarded with scholarships of 500 € each. In addition, the best oral performance will receive a book prize. The awards are offered by the Finnish Society of Sports Sciences and the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences of University of Jyväksylä.

Call of abstracts has ended! Thank you for everybody, who submitted their work.

The abstract will be evaluated by a scientific committee. Letter of Acceptance will be sent to participants by June 18th, 2021 by email.
In addition, the competition finalists will be contacted by August 17th, 2021 by email. All approved entries will be displayed during the event in the e-posters exhibition space.
