Finnish Sport Sciences Conference 2025

The Finnish Sport Sciences Conference will take place on September 3–4, 2025, in Jyväskylä. Mark your calendar and get ready to listen to inspiring speakers and discuss the latest research in sport science.

This year’s theme for the Finnish Sport Sciences Conference is "On Equal Footing in Sports?". The event will explore equality and inequality in sports and physical activity, from the individual level to broader societal perspectives.

The event program and registration details will be published in spring 2025. As always, the program will feature top international and domestic speakers, thought-provoking themed sessions, presentations of new research, and a research competition for young scholars. Additionally, the event will host a seminar by the Academy of Finland's ACTIVE program and an anti-doping seminar organized by the Finnish Center for Integrity in Sports (SUEK).

The Finnish Sport Sciences Conferencehave a long tradition and have become an important meeting point for researchers, experts, policymakers, practitioners, and students in the field of sports and health sciences. The event fosters interaction between researchers, decision-makers, and knowledge users while also serving as an educational opportunity for early-career researchers.
